NELLIAMPATHI

Nelliampathi in Palakkad district of Kerala is one of the popular hill station which is sixty kilometer (60 km )away from Palakkad town. It is a three hour, 75 km trip away from Palakkad and, at this hill station is 1600 mts above sea level, Nelliampathi is surrounded by panoramic views of hills with plantations of tea, orange ,coffee and cardamom. This is one among the best tourist spots in Kerala as the weather is very good for tea and coffee plantations .

The route map of Nelliampathy is from Nemmara to Kaikatty junction and Pothundi Dam which is a small dam for irrigation which provides water for the rice fields of palakkad and souurounding areas. The dam is at the foot of the Nelliampathi hills. The view of the Pothundy dam from the height is a breathtaking sight.
